Jeremy was born on December 11th, 1975, at Ft. Stewart, Georgia. Jeremy is the son of Ed and Teresa Smith. Jeremy has lived in Paducah since 1981. After graduating from Lone Oak High School in 1994, Jeremy attended the University of Kentucky from the Fall of 1994 until the Spring of 1998, when he graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science (Jeremy is also at a loss as to how to explain why a degree in Political Science is a Bachelors of Arts degree, as opposed to being a Bachelors of Science, but he has learned to let it go.). From the Fall of 1998 through the Spring of 2001, Jeremy attended Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. During his years at Capital Law, Jeremy was a member of the legal fraternity Phi Alpha Delta and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Upon graduating, Jeremy returned to Paducah and worked as a law clerk for The Department of Public Advocacy and the Honorable Judge R. Jeffrey Hines, McCracken Circuit Court, Division I.
